ShirtFaced started with a simple observation: the funniest thing anyone says all day usually happens at work, and it never leaves the break room.
So we put it on a shirt.
Our designs are written for people who actually do things for a living — the ICU nurse running on three hours of sleep, the caregiver who has mastered the polite deflection, the hiker who would rather be on a trail than in this meeting. The jokes land because they are specific. If you do not do the job, you might not get it. That is the point.
Everything is printed when you order it. No warehouse full of guesses, no end-of-season pile marked down to nothing and thrown away. You pick the design, we print it, it shows up at your door. A little slower than fast fashion, and a lot less wasteful.
We are based in New York and we run small on purpose. No committee deciding what is funny, no watering a good joke down until it is safe enough for everyone and funny to no one.
If a shirt makes one specific person laugh out loud and everyone else ask "wait, what does that mean?" — it did its job.
